Security video and financial evidence linked the Brown University shooting to the MIT professor who was shot and killed in his home, the U.S. attorney for Massachusetts said. Investigators identified the vehicle that the suspect had rented and drove from Boston to Brown University and back to Boston, U.S. Attorney Leah B. Foley said.
