Pokken Tournament is an upcoming fighting game that takes our favorite pocket monsters and pits them against each other without the supervision of a trainer. This new project is a collaboration between Nintendo and Bandai Namco, the company behind titles such as Dark Souls, Demon Souls and the upcoming Lords of the Fallen. However, the publisher has a plethora of other Dungeon Fighter Online games under its belt as well, with more than a few from the fighting genre. Having already worked on video Dungeon Fighter Online games inspired by popular anime series such as Dragon Ball Z, Naruto or One Piece, the creators of Tekken are now trying their hand at perhaps the most popular anime of them all: Pokemon.There are definitely a lot Dungeon Fighter Online Gold of Dungeon Fighter Online games inspired by this series, but they're not exactly known for their over the top action. Well, Pokken Tournament will change all of that as the game is basically just Tekken, except that you'll be battling it out with Lucario or Machamp instead of King or Paul Phoenix. Admittedly, that's simplifying things a little, but we don't really know a lot of details about the game at the moment so we're just assuming based on the trailer. All we know for sure is that Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada and Soulcalibur producer Masaaki Hoshino are working on Pokken Tournament and they plan to launch it in Japan next year. Also, the game is apparently being developed with arcades in mind and we're not sure if it will also end up coming to home consoles, but I really hope that it does.In other news, Bandai Namco is also working on yet another anime inspired fighting game in the form of Dragon Ball Xenoverse. EA is impressed by the new devices released by Apple and sees potential in making Dungeon Fighter Online games for them. The company states that, due to the devices' beautiful screens, stronger processing power, better battery life and increased storage capacity, their capabilities are close to next-generation console level.Electronic Arts praises the Retina display, stating that due to the higher fidelity of the screen, they can create better gaming experiences. They also state that Metal unlocks several opportunities for them: new shaders and texture memory, advanced AI, frame rate stability and an overall impressive level of immersion. The company adds that they can also deliver higher quality experiences due to the extended storage size of the devices.EA states that they have prepared for the new iOS over the summer and that they have twelve Dungeon Fighter Online games ready to launch over the next year. Three of these Dungeon Fighter Online games were already announced. FIFA 15 Ultimate Team will be released later this month, with Peggle Blast and SimCity Buildlt following sometime in the fall.
